We have brought our juniors and teens to Mount Moriah for several years now. We look forward to the week more and more each year. There are so many wonderful things to say about the camp! Our youth have always enjoyed interacting with the counselors. The college students chosen to work at the camp have always shown a sincere interest in the young people as friends but also as spiritual guides. They exercise much patience and amaze us with their never ending energy and enthusiasm. The games and skits always bring many laughs and cheers as they keep the kids engaged and  excited for some friendly competition. The facilities have been great and it’s a blessing to see growth and improvements each summer. Most importantly though, the preaching by the guest speakers has always been spot-on and obviously led by the Holy Spirit. 

We appreciate brother Steve Scoggins so much and his leadership at Mt. Moriah. He has become a genuine friend over the years and always makes us feel included as church leaders. 

What a joy it is to be able to recommend this camp to anyone who is looking for a place to take their youth for a time of spiritual growth and friendship with other brothers and sisters in Christ. We thank the Lord for Mount Moriah and the people who keep the vision alive.

Mount Moriah Christian Camp has been such a tremendous blessing to our church, my family, and to our teenagers over the years. We are incredibly thankful for the countless memories that have been made, the friendships that have been strengthened, and most importantly, the spiritual decisions that have taken place at camp. Year after year, we have watched young people step away from the distractions of everyday life, leave their modern technology behind, and spend focused time hearing the Word of God preached, worshiping the Lord, and being challenged to surrender their lives more fully to Christ. Each year our teens and juniors make lasting friendships that encourage them as they observe others, outside their region, living and serving God.

As grateful as we are for Temple Baptist Church, Mount Moriah Christian Camp and the amazing, faithful people who serve there, we know that all the glory belongs to God. He is the One who saves souls, changes hearts, restores lives, and calls young people to live for Him. We have seen teenagers return from camp with a renewed hunger for God, a greater desire to serve Him, and decisions that have impacted the direction of their lives. We praise the Lord for every seed that has been planted, every prayer that has been answered, and every life that has been changed. Mount Moriah Christian Camp will always hold a special place in the heart of our church, and we look forward with great anticipation to seeing what God will continue to do there in the years ahead!

We have been taking our junior campers to Mount Moriah for the last 5 years. We love how well the camp is organized and how smoothly it runs all week long. From the time we arrive until the time we leave there is not one hour of the day that is not accounted for. But more than that is the spiritual emphasis that Mount Moriah places on every aspect of the camp. From the services to scripture memorization, daily morning and evening devotions, even the activities are all centered around the spiritual growth of the young people. Our young people love Mount Moriah Camp, and they look forward to it every summer.
