Founder

Mount Moriah Christian Camp was established as a ministry of Temple Baptist Church in Powell, Tennessee. Pastor Clarence Sexton led the church to begin the camp by faith with a vision to stir young people to “Take the High Road” and to strengthen local churches in their efforts to reach young people for Christ.

God is truly blessing the ministry of Mount Moriah Christian Camp. We are so excited about the upcoming summer. Mount Moriah Christian Camp is a place where the Word of God is preached and young people are encouraged to “Take the High Road”. As a young person, God used the camp ministry to encourage me to make right decisions and to give my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. I know God is at work in our world today, and it is our prayer that God would raise up a generation of young people that will live for Him!

Director of Mt. Moriah Christian Camp

Mount Moriah Christian Camp holds a special place in my heart. I attended Mount Moriah as a camper throughout my teenage years, and the Lord did so many wonderful things in my life! Now I am grateful to God for the opportunity to serve in the camp ministry.
The Lord wants to do great things in the lives of young people, and it is our prayer that He will use us for His glory. Pray with us that God will give us the greatest summer that we have ever had!
